The Main Tool Window is accessed from the World Editor mode bar.
A list of vehicles which are currently loaded, are shown as a list in this window. From here, the user can select the vehicle with which they wish to co-simulate.
A number of buttons appear beside each vehicle:
Remove Vehicle will remove the vehicle from the scene, thus removing it from the list.
Go To Vehicle will move the camera to the selected vehicle.
Open ‘Available Signals’ Window will open a secondary window which contains all the signals (properties) which are available for the selected vehicle. This is where the user builds up the .csv file which describes the parameters of the coupled system.
Start/Stop Coupling will toggle between starting and stopping the execution of the coupling with the third party. A file dialog will open to allow the user to the select the path of the .csv. When starting the coupling, the third party should already be set up and waiting for the coupling to start.
Save Coupling Configuration will save the .csv file with the selected properties for this vehicle.
Load Coupling Configuration will load a pre-made .csv file for the selected vehicle, which can be edited further.
